Why Should I Believe In God and the Bible?
Why Believe and does God truly exist?This is a question that every person has at one time thought about and pondered. Every person has a desire for something more in their life and have an emptiness that they feel must be filled. When we are looking for power, riches, sensual pleasure, security, fame, or an indulgence in natural pleasures it is a our response to the desire we feel when we want to fill the void with something. All the temporal pleasures and earthly riches are ultimately unfulfilling and these desires are a cry for help. Our soul seeks something that cannot be gratified by the things of this world and can only be fulfilled by the God. |

Why should I believe?You can look throughout the major world religions and you'll find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses all identified themselves as teachers or prophets. You see none of them ever claimed to be equal to God but Jesus said that anyone has seen Him He has seen the Father. He also said that anyone who believed in Him, believed in the Father as well. Ultimately this is your decision, no one can force you to believe. But if you want to be forgiven by God and come into a relationship with Him, you can do so by asking Him to forgive you and come into your life. |
