How Does One Become A Believer?

Confess you are a sinner. This is an important part of recognizing you're not perfect and that you need to confess and start a relationship with God. Only then is God willing to forgive us if we are willing to confess, "Lord, I am a sinner." Ask for forgiveness for your sins. Asking for forgiveness states that you understand that you need to be forgiven and that there is only one way to be forgiven. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and once you understand that and realize that He will forgive you can pray, "Lord, I ask that you forgive me of my sins." Ask Jesus to come into your life and be your savior. Jesus will come into your life and you will be changed. If you do want to pray and believe you might say something like, |

"Lord, I confess to you
I am a sinner. I know that my sin separates me
from you and I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
I know that you died for me on the cross and rose
again. Jesus I believe in you and I ask you to
come into my life and transform me.
Amen" After you genuinely say this prayer your salvation has become real. You are now a believer and have been given eternal life by God's Grace. You may feel emotion or you may not, but the most important thing is that now you believe in a faithful and loving God.
