Believe In Whom?
Why Believe in God?We are separated from God because of our sins, but because of His great Love, He sent His one and only Son to earth to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. This is the saving Grace of Jesus, His salvation is a free gift and we can receive it from Him by asking. When we choose to receive it, we will be restored and can begin to walk with the Lord. But reason alone cannot prove the existence of God. Faith is reason plus revelation, and the revelation part requires one to think with the spirit as well as with the mind. You have to hear the music, not just read the notes on the page. Ultimately, a leap of faith is required. What does Believe mean?The word "Believe" means to trust, to depend on, and to rely on. Belief has always been about heart and mind, body and soul. His (Agape) love is greater than any differences we possess. I believe He's here today and with us always. |
